The Hungry Cyclist Lodge Is Open - 2017

Another winter passes by, spring is in bloom and once again it is time to roll away the stone on The Hungry Cyclist Lodge for another busy season.

Our winter has not been idle (well a little bit perhaps) and there are plenty of exciting new additions to The Hungry Cyclist Lodge to ensure your cycling holiday in Burgundy is calming, delicious and comfortable.

Our 18th century bread oven has now been renovated. Providing us with a little home over the summer months, she can also be fired-up for guest meals. Breads, haunches of wild boar, pizzas, Poulet de Bresse, tarts and terrine will all be on the menu, for an authentic Burgundian gourmet experience.

And the renovations have not stoped there... Inheriting an abandoned wine vat, we have tinkered away and transformed her into a bespoke wood-fired hot-tub. Complete with drinks shelf, what could be better than a hot soak after a days cycling in Burgundy, perhaps with a crisp glass of Saint Romain to ease the limbs?

And to keep the creative cells warm in the winter months we have also been working on some THC merchandise for you to take home. Cycling Jerseys, T Shirts, Market Bags, Cork Screws and a range of wine are all available from our in-house boutique as well as some treasures from local brocante.

Alas, if you are looking for a holiday in 2017 we are now fully-booked but why not get ahead of the crowd and organise your holiday in Burgundy for 2018? We are currently taking bookings for house rentals and Tailor Made Holidays so do get in touch and we will help you plan your stay.

A very Happy to Easter to one and all and see you in Burgundy soon.
